WEDCO makes the best jerry cans out there. New this year is a
WEDCO CARB compliant WEDCO can for all of those states. These 20
liter (5.28 U.S. gallons) containers were first nicknamed jerry cans in
World War II. The German's designed this can for the Blitzkrieg of North
Africa. It minimized gasoline losses under combat conditions. Two
halves are welded together as in an automobile gas tank. An air
chamber at the top and a tube from the spout to the air space allows
smooth pouring. Claw-type cap and spout does not leak. Standard U.S.
cans leak when partially full. We started using WEDCO cans and
discovered they do not leak at all. They also survived the weather
during our Death Valley desert trip. They came in handy when we were
low on fuel. The ride was bumpy, very bumpy and still not a single spill.
